CCDC Strategic Plan
I was part of the team that developed a strategic plan for Capital City Development Corporation in 2012. The plan focused on the company becoming "more development" and "less corporation" and, in the spirit of less corporation, we designed a pithy, one-page infographic to communicate the function and workflow of CCDC. I took the lead on design and the team refined it.
CCDC 2012 Annual Report
Details the work of downtown Boise's development corporation in 2012. Our goal was to create a document that was minimal, civic, and conveyed forward-thinking action. Read the report here.
Hailey Welcome Center Signage
Signage to communicate the sustainable features of a LEED Silver building in Ketchum, Idaho. I won an RFP and collaborated with the City of Hailey to design and fabricate the signage in 2014.
Front Yard Initiative Toolkit
Paving front yards in New Orleans is a widespread practice that aggravates localized street flooding, contributes to the urban heat island effect, pollutes water, creates an environment that disincentivizes walking and is illegal.
To help homeowners design a new, permeable yard and qualify for a grant, my team donated our time on Martin Luther King Jr. Day to design this toolkit. It starts with considerations like how much sun your yard gets and how much maintenance you're willing to do, continues to different strategies that match those considerations, and concludes with example plans from previous projects.
